Another month, another set of monthly goals! Anyone else feel like this year is simultaneously moving at a snail’s pace and still somehow flying by? Just me?
July Goals Recap
1. Read two books a week – Just barely made it this month with 8 books – not sure I’ll be able to hit that for the rest of the year though.
2. Average 6,000 steps for the month – Not quite – I didn’t always have my FitBit on me this month which probably affected things, but nevertheless I averaged around 5,400 steps this month.
3. Do some outdoor activities – I did some walking/running around the neighborhood and even did a nice hike!
August Goals
1. Read six books – Things are getting busier with work so I’ll have less time to read. As I mentioned above, I just barely made my goal last month so I’m going to cut back my goal to something a bit more realistic and try for six books this month.
2. Go out somewhere to eat for a date – Restaurants have opened up for outdoor dining here in LA! I think it’d be so nice to get dressed up and support a local business by planning a little date!
3. Hit my goal weight – I’ve been using Noom since April to help me be more aware of what I’m eating and motivate me to be more active. I’ve been loving it so far and if I stay on track, I should finally hit my goal weight this month!
