If you’ve seen Ralph Breaks the Internet, the sequel to Wreck it Ralph, you know that probably the biggest scene stealers were the Disney Princesses. Among the princesses we see are Anna and Elsa (Frozen), Ariel (The Little Mermaid), Aurora (Sleeping Beauty), Belle (Beauty and the Beast), Cinderella, Jasmine (Aladdin), Merida (Brave), Moana, Mulan, Pocahontas, Rapunzel (Tangled), Snow White, and Tiana (The Princess and the Frog).
Nearly all the original voice actors returned to reprise their roles in what was one of the most nostalgic and magical of moments. It’s hard to believe that many of these princesses’ movies are from decades ago! But from the audience reaction in my theater, they’re clearly still remembered and cherished.
Over the years we’ve gotten numerous sequels and even live-action remakes in the case of Cinderella, Beauty and the Beast, and now Mulan (March 27, 2020) and, my personal favorite, Aladdin (May 24, 2019). But never have we seen this many princesses in one place! Major nostalgia overload. These ladies were definitely my favorite part of Ralph Breaks the Internet, and now I can’t wait to rewatch all these Disney classics all over again!
