Yay!! My second Friday’s Fancies!! I did my first one way back in June and each week have wanted to participate in it again since. This week’s theme was Labor Day which I’m sure you all are just as excited about the three day weekend as I am!! Unfortunately, I’m still sick with bronchitis so I don’t have anything too crazy planned (well…except my sorority’s formal in Orlando), but honestly what I would really loveee to do with my extra day of freedom would be to just lie by the pool with a good book and get my tan on. It’s only the first week of classes and I already feel overwhelmed so a day of doing nothing but relaxing sounds perfect to me. But knowing me, there’s no way that’s going to happen but one can dream.
For this imaginary day of R&R by the pool, I would wear my Victoria’s Secret mint bandeau top and rainbow printed leopard hipkini bottoms (LOVE this bathing suit set!) with a coral, also VS, tassel cover up. In reality, I’d probably wear my Express sandals to go with this SUPER cheap Wet Seal floppy hat and my new Tory Burch sunglasses (these aren’t the exact ones I own but close enough), but here I’m going to go with these amazing Dolce Vita wedges. Finally, I’d bring a fun-colored or printed, large beach bag like this Brahmin polka dotted tote to carry all my poolside essentials including my Starbucks tumblr, sunscreen (of course), and my current reading material of choice – right now it’s Austin Grossman’s Soon I Will Be Invincble which you all need to go out and read now – it’s awesome.
