Today I am reviewing two new skincare products from Elemis sent courtesy of Influenster! I’m a big fan of natural skincare and always love discovering and trying out new brands and products. Keep reading for my review of the Superfood Vital Veggie Mask and Blackcurrant Jelly Exfoliator!
Both the Vital Veggie Mask and Blackcurrant Jelly Exfoliator are from Elemis’ vegan-friendly Superfood Skincare range. These products are packed with good-for-you ingredients like antioxidants, vitamins, minerals, and fatty acids to give you the healthy, glowing skin you’ve always wanted.
Vital Veggie Mask
I think ya’ll know I love a good face mask! It’s one of my top ways of pampering myself on my selfcare days. This mask is like giving your face a shot of green goodness! The smoothie-inspired mask includes ingredients like kale, avocado, and wheatgrass. The nutrient-dense supergreens, fruit acids, and extracts all help make your skin super soft, glowy, and smooth.
As I was applying the mask to my face, I felt a slight tingle which I found nice. I also loved the natural scent and how lightweight it felt. The mask starts off green on your face then turns clear. After 10 minutes, I remove it using a damp dark washcloth. Afterwards, my skin looks plump and dewy and feels SO REFRESHED and moisturized! It’s pretty amazing the immediate results! I also have already noticed how much brighter and more even my complexion looks!
Blackcurrant Jelly Exfoliator
This super gentle facial scrub is jam-packed with antioxidant-rich fruit extracts, Black Tea Extract, Nordic Bilberry, and Glycerin. It has a great smell and a nice jelly consistency that felt soothing on the skin. I was relieved that it wasn’t harsh and grainy like many other exfoliators which I read can actually cause tiny tears in your skin with their small abrasive beads.
It also didn’t irritate the sensitive breakouts I’m currently dealing with nor did it dry out my skin! I found that even though it’s gentle enough for daily use, it’s very effective in getting rid of dull, dead skin cells leaving my skin bright and smooth. After use, my skin feels cleaner, softer, and more hydrated. The only downside is I wish there was more product in the tube but then again, maybe I’m just greedy because I love this stuff!
This is actually my first time trying out Elemis skincare products, and I have to say I am very impressed! I love that it’s vegan, cruelty-free, and a decent price point for the quality! I would recommend these products for all skin types especially those with sensitive or dry skin.
